Troy People Concerned (“TPC”) is an information and referral agency. We assist the Troy residents who find themselves in a crisis situation by providing referrals to area agencies or by directly providing financial or other assistance. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit agency established in 1974. TPC is governed by a volunteer board of directors that set the policies for the organization. We hope you enjoy your stay at our web site.

Shopping with the Troy Fire Department

Each October the volunteer Firefighters at Station 6 hold a dinner dance fundraiser to assist children in need.  Troy People Concerned provides the children and in December everyone meets at Walmart for a holiday shopping spree. Firefighters and volunteers are matched together to shop for the children’s parents and siblings. They all return to Fire Station 6 where the teams wrap the gifts followed by holiday crafts and a pizza lunch for everyone. The Fire Station is bustling with activity, excitement and giant smiles all around!  When it’s time for the parents to pick up the kids, they are excited to learn that there is also a large bag of wrapped gifts for them to place under their Christmas tree.

TPC is so appreciative of the Troy Firefighters, volunteers and Walmart for making the holidays very special for so many Troy boys and girls and their families!
